Development of the Cognitive Training System by the Event-related Potential

We focused on the feasibility of an EEG based cognitive training to prevent dementia in elderly people. As first step, we attempted develop “Neurotrainer” that utilized event-related potential (ERP) as a switch control games. recorded ERP data from 11 normal adult subjects, during oddball task with game like flash card using some clip arts, giving feedback players depending level ERP. All produced strong ERPs, and performed well at about 82% success rate. These results suggest Neurotrainer could be good candidate system, which can commercialized “bSports.”
